WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today invited Bishop Larry Lawrence Brandon, Senior Pastor of Praise Temple of Shreveport, Louisiana, to lead the U.S. Senate in the opening prayer.
“It was an honor to have Bishop Larry Brandon of Shreveport lead the opening prayer for the Senate today,” said Dr. Cassidy. “Bishop Brandon has displayed great dedication to his community. The message of integrity, compassion, and liberty resonated deeply on the Senate floor.”
Since its founding over thirty years ago, Praise Temple Missionary Baptist Church has become a vital part of Shreveport-Bossier. Praise Temple currently has extensions throughout Louisiana in cities Ruston, Monroe, Bossier, and Lafayette.
