WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) released a statement following President Biden’s announcement he will nominate Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to become an associate justice on the United States Supreme Court.
“Potential Supreme Court justices must be committed to strictly upholding the rule of law, applying the law as written, and respecting Americans’ Constitutional rights, especially individual freedoms. I look forward to meeting with Judge Jackson in person and will thoroughly review her record,” said Dr. Cassidy.
