WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) issued the following statement after President Biden released his proposed Fiscal Year 2024 budget Thursday:
“The president showed us where his priorities are, and they don’t align with everyday Americans. Americans want to see the border secured, crime addressed, and energy prices lowered,” said Dr. Cassidy. “Americans also want to see President Biden’s plan to address Social Security. Obama, Bush, and Clinton each had a serious plan. We’re less than a decade away from an automatic 24% benefit cut. Where is Joe Biden’s plan?”
