WASHINGTON—U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) released a statement regarding the Democrats’ $2.5 trillion debt ceiling increase.
“Democrats plan to add $2.5 trillion to the debt in just one year,” said Dr. Cassidy. “Inflation is at a 40-year high and gas and food prices are skyrocketing. Reckless spending will not fix our problems.”
