WASHINGTON—A spokesman for U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D., (R-LA) released the following statement:
“Senator Cassidy has never stopped working on health care reform. He has had conversations with colleagues. Whatever is put forward will be a collaborative effort that will help make health care more affordable and accessible, while keeping the power over health care decisions in the hands of patients and taxpayers,” said a Cassidy spokesman. “This includes, but is not limited to, making sure that those with pre-existing conditions have affordable coverage and that the cost of medications come down.”
