WASHINGTON— U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA), released a statement regarding his no vote following the congressional passage of the omnibus spending bill.
“The omnibus proves it is easy to spend money and hard to set priorities. Because of this, the debt and deficit increased dramatically. The Senate was given less than 24 hours to review, but this was clear,” said Dr. Cassidy.
