WASHINGTON – Today, Dr. Bill Cassidy was sworn in as a member of the 114th Congress representing Louisiana in the United States Senate.
Senator Cassidy offered the following statement:
“It’s a great honor to represent the people of Louisiana in the U.S. Senate. Our national priorities should be creating better jobs for working Americans and a healthcare system that works for patients and not for bureaucrats.”
Previously, Dr. Cassidy announced that he will serve on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources, Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP), Appropriations, Veteran’s Affairs and Joint Economic Committees.
