WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) released the following statement in response to President Joe Biden’s budget.
“The Biden Administration came out with their budget. Keep in mind this budget is on top of $7.1 trillion they have already proposed. That is more money than the United States spent fighting World War II. Now we’re not going into the pandemic, we’re coming out of the pandemic and the spending priority should reflect current reality. I ask for us all and I ask for those future generations who will have to pay for the borrowed money bill that the spending they propose reflect current reality,” said Dr. Cassidy.
